London Griffins 14 - Farnborough 20

London Griffins went down to Farnborough Falcons 20-14 in a close encounter in the first LARL game of the season.

The game was played in poor conditions with heavy downpours throughout but both sides managed to control the ball well at times.

London Griffins 10 - Kent Ravens 40

In the Griffins first hit out of the season the LARL team put in a good performance against Kent Ravens at Richmond College.

The match started at a frantic pace which seemed to sweep both teams into playing an extremely fast game of rugby league. Once the pace had settled slightly the match turned into an exciting and action packed spectacle.  

Griffins prepare for first game of 2008

The London Griffins are preparing for their first game of 2008 under the guidence of player coach Adam Hill. Fresh from impressive performance for St Marys University Adam is putting the Griffins through preseason training and readying the team for the game against Kent Ravens on the 5th April.

The curtain went down on London Griffins debut competitive season as despite a performance full of bravery, skill and commitment, Farnborough Falcons marched on to a final date with Gosport and Fareham Vikings.
